I bring to my art a deep passion for the great outdoors. Early years were spent exploring woods and fields on our family farm. Today the Tetons, Yellowstone and Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains are my playground. On archival panels, using some of my own hand-made pastels, I represent the bold shapes and subtle hues of our western landscape. Enter the paintings and explore with me. Sense the mystery and awe that nature inspires.
As a member of Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters and a signature member of Pastel Society of America, The Butler Institute of American Art, National Arts Club, Mountain Oyster Club and Brinton Museum have shown my work. Recent awards include several Best of Shows and the Wyoming Governor’s Choice Award. I’ve been featured in Art of the West and Southwest Art magazines.
