My major inspiration for painting is to capture the beauty of nature, rangelands, ranches, and their animals. I paint what I respond to emotionally and intuitively. Most my paintings are created with palette knife and brush, with multiple layers, and a variety of textures and moods. When I am out on the land with animals, I am restored to peace, to wholeness, to an indescribable calm; my paintings reflect my experiences.
Major Exhibitions include: Oil Painters of America Western, The American Plains Artists, The American Impressionist Society National Exhibition, Cheyenne Frontier Days Art Show, The American Academy of Equine Artists, Small Works Great Wonders at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma, and many exhibitions in Utah.
