Gary has been painting for most of his life. His subject matter is the life he lives and loves, the modern day ranch cowboy. He is a cowboy himself and has worked all over the West but lives and spends most of his time in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of New Mexico.
Gary participated in the CFD Art Show many years. He was selected to do the poster three times, including the 100th Anniversary poster. He was also selected as the print artist once.
I always enjoyed being a part of this great show. So many magnificent artists have shown here over the years. Lots of great friendships began here. Many collectors became friends and I will always be grateful for the support and encouragement they shared. It is hard to believe that 40 years have passed since the beginning. Congratulations to the Museum and all the volunteers who work tirelessly to make it all happen. Thank you Cheyenne!
