My major inspiration for painting is to capture the beauty of nature and all her colors, especially while on farms and with animals.
I paint what I respond to emotionally and intuitively. The majority of my paintings are created with palette knife and brush in multiple layers of color, and variety of textures, and moods. I often paint small color sketches from life then use my sketches to create a larger painting.
Major Exhibitions include: Oil Painters of America Western, The American Plains Artists, The American Impressionist Society National Exhibition, Cheyenne Frontier Days Art Show, The American Academy of Equine Artists, Small Works Great Wonders at The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in OK, and many exhibitions in Utah.
