Paul Kethley

Paul was born in Shreveport, La in 1952. Even when he was very young, his God-given gift emerged while illustrating WWII aircraft in dog fight positions. After earning a degree in business from a university in 1974, Paul immediately headed for Denver, Co where he worked at various sales and marketing positions for 15 years. In his spare time, he began painting western scenes that were very much inspired by the late Frederic Remington. In 1989 Paul opened his own studio in Evergreen, Co after leaving his full-time job. While there, he conducted private art lessons , sold art supplies, and completed a few local art commissions.

In 1999, Paul married his wife Lisa and relocated to Buena Visa, Co where he was able to focus on his art and become a participant in three national invitational western art shows. In January of 2020, Paul and Lisa moved to Powell, Wy to enjoy a change of pace and new surroundings, "I like to depict figures interacting with the western environment and introduce a narrative that inspires the viewer."
