“Inspired by my heritage and culture, I feel blessed to have this present-day experience of being a Native American woman. Art allows me to speak my voice and the freedom to express my thoughts and emotions in a modern approach, without restraint. How do I feel about my art? I strive to represent the love I have for my heritage and people. My creations depict Native Americans in beauty, grace, resilience and strength. It is my hope to make obvious, both, our humanity and divinity. I aspire to reconcile, heal and enlighten through my artwork.”
