This is a painting of a roper changing horses in the branding pen in Delle, Utah. The tack on the horses reflects the variety of cowboy styles used in our area. The buckaroo influence is apparent in the oxbow stirrups, the slobber straps on the snaffle bit, and the wade saddle. They head and heel the calves and you see both big loops and small ones
