I got the idea for "Come At Me Bro" by spending time in the mountains, plein Air painting.
These Broad-tailed hummingbirds can be very fierce defending their territory.They just can't afford to share flowers. They were chasing each other, dive bombing each other-and me!
I decided to stage them with Indian paintbrush and lupine.
