I really enjoy watching these little "rock rabbits". They're among America's toughest animals and only live in alpine conditions. They cannot live in higher temps. They spend their summer days collecting plants and flowers to dry in hay piles and stored for winter. Pika do not hibernate.
I saw this little guy in the Bighorn Mountains, near the Medicine Wheel.
