Tangled up in Blue
7" x 20"
Mountain Bluebirds have long been a favorite of mine, and it seems for a lot of others as well. They come in February where we live at 8300’ in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of Colorado. Sometimes it seems they've arrived way too soon as they battle months of challenging weather. Yet every year they make homes in our bluebird houses and we get to watch them raise their families. We have several boxes and watching all of them while the sun dances on them in their brilliant blues and subtle grays-it is always a sight to behold.
