After all the research it took for the making of the monument “Breakin’ Through”, I almost did this knock off in my sleep.
The cowgirls of the turn of the century (1900) that entered the wild west shows and eventually rodeo, were a site to see with their split skirts decorated with conchose, buckles and fringe, ornate boots, kidney belts individually decorated with brass brads, beaded quatlets, and of course, the “ten gallon” hats.
Some may not get the title, so I’ll help a little – she’s a strawberry blonde and of course the ol’ strawberry roan complete with the 44 brand on its left hip – you might recall the song – “All in Fun”.
